Rai has sued India Nowadays and its office bearers for maligning for two stories distributed on the site of Aaj Tak unused channel charging that Rai was called for addressing by the Uttar Pradesh Extraordinary Errand Drive (STF) in connection to the Sanjay Sherpuria case.
